Tenggara Point Lodge is designed to tread lightly and sit quietly in this remote South-east Indonesian landscape.
We've limited our scope to just four private bungalows as Tenggara is all about keeping the numbers low and intimate.
This doesn't mean we’ve pulled back on comfort and style though, the appointments and furnishings are the quality you expect from Pegasus, and the main pavillion and pool area – the heart and soul of the property – is a stunning piece of design and architecture.
Your three delightful daily meals at Tenggara Point Lodge are a thoughtful mix of regional influences and surefire hits we’ve curated over the years at our established properties.
Should you have special dietary requirements, please let us know in advance and we’re more than happy to cater specifically for them.
Complimentary offerings include fresh fruit such as apples, bananas, rambutan, dragonfruit, pineapple, tangerines, as well as tea, coffee, and water. Our attentive staff will attend to your needs at a moment’s notice.
Bintang beer is included! Special requests for other beers, wine or liquor can be arranged per request.
From a quick drop in to the neighbouring village, to a longer scooter excursion to another village half an hour away, this is a fun and great way to meet the locals, share a few laughs, and gain an appreciation of a vibrant culture. Highly recommended.
STAND UP PADDLE
Tenggara is a great place for Stand Up Paddleboarding. The wave itself has a fun end section for the rookie SUP paddler, and it's fun just to jump on a SUP and cruise out to the lineup to check the waves out anyway!
One of the unexpected joys of Stand Up Paddleboarding is the view you get from the standing positon. As opposed to kayaking, you not only see further beyond, but also get a great perspective directly below you, as the ever-changing colours of reef, sand and sea life glide beneath your board.
The physical benefits of SUP are well known – it's basically a "Full Body Workout" machine – but unlike those contraptions they sell on late night infomercials, these actually work!
You probably haven't come out to Tenggara with fishing as your main reason for visiting, but sometimes it’s nice to get out for a late afternoon trawl.
No need to bring your own fishing gear, we've got you sorted – and we'll even take care of the messy stuff for you!
The water clarity here at Tenggara doesn't just make for a pristine canvas for surfers to draw their lines on, it also facilitates some pretty good snorkelling.
No need to bring your gear, we've got you sorted, and have a few go-to spots that visitors will enjoy.
If you feel the need to stretch your legs, we have a few quick hikes up our sleeve that will give you a quick workout, and reward the walker with awesome views of the headland, hinterland and beyond.
