The Telo Islands, Indonesia
Apr 25, 2016
The past 4 days we have seen the island weather hit us in all different ways. Winds have been good and bad, waves have been from 2-4ft, rain has hit and sun has been shinning.
We have had a few little localised storms hit, causing swirling winds and a few little showers. Surfing around these storms and fishing once the wind blows the break out has made for a fun, adventurous fishing trip yielding 2 Spanish Mackarel to bring back home.
Yesterday was a perfect Telo day. Waves were 2-4ft with not a drop of water out of place. In the morning we headed over to ER to find these perfect user-friendly, rolling right and left handers. Winds were very light out of the East. The afternoon session was surfed around the corner at Max's left and there were a few nice, fun waves hitting the reef. 2 of our guests decided to surf out the front at Max's Right; it was a bit of a wait between set but they managed to jag a few little ones.
Reports are looking good for the next few days with a swell already starting to rise.
