One of the many exciting things about travelling to an island in the middle of the Pacific is how unpredictable and unexpected the weather can be. It's hard to foresee what will become of each day. The forecast for last week was predicting trade winds, but much to our surprise, good old Huey put a big halt to that!
Most mornings our guests were woken with glassy conditions out the front at Aganoa Right, with both our peaks in motion and not a soul insight. It is often a surreal moment when we see an empty, ideal wave, breaking only 100 metres from our door.
With plenty of waves caught by all and some relaxing times at the lodge, it was a great week with great company.
