After a couple of days surfing down at Middles, the winds we’ve been seeking shelter from have eased, so it’s back to the leisurely routine of surf on our doorsteps! The morning and afternoon high tides have gratefully coincided with glassy conditions and a consistent run of swell! Most of the sessions have been in the 2-4ft range, and although it's been a little bumpy and not so perfect, it has certainly been a blast.
It’s the last day of the trip for our current guests, and apart from surfing to our heart’s content, we’ve had lessons in Siapo making (ornamental local fabric), peppered the sky with coconuts at the blowholes, and sought an adrenaline hit by jumping off the crater around the beautiful waterfall. This morning, Aganoa Right said its farewells, producing some really fun 3-4 foot conditions. For us here at Aganoa Lodge Samoa, it’s a sad goodbye to some great guests, but time to reset, relax and greet our next guests with an Afio Mai (welcome) and some traditional Samoan hospitality. See you here in our tropical paradise soon!
