The last few days at Aganoa Lodge have delivered the goods for our guests, with a glassy 4-foot-morning on both the rights and the lefts. Simply put. it was a perfect way to end a trip!
At the start of the week, the winds were not in our favour, but that didn’t stop the keen guests from getting out and ripping apart the waves that were on offer. As the week rolled on, the winds turned off shore and the swell cleaned up, offering us exhilarating and surf-ready sets.
Thursday afternoon, we loaded the van for a tour of the East coast, but it was cut short when we saw an unexpected North swell hitting the outer reefs along the lagoons. As soon as we saw the swell, we raced back and grabbed the boards, then zipped over to Pastor Point. The swell certainly did not disappoint, rolling out nice 3ft ripple sections. The fun waves were followed by a classic Samoan sunset and some cold beers on the way home. Everyone was surfed out but in high spirits!
Our guests also enjoyed our yoga services provided by our newest member of the Aganoa team, Jenna. Jenna just recently arrived at the lodge but has already had a huge impact here. Early morning yoga on our sun deck over-looking the lagoon has been gratefully relished by our Yogi’s. Jenna has also been leading classes that aid in preparing your muscles for a day full of surf.
Another great week here at the lodge. Looking forward to seeing what the new week brings!
