We finished off this week with some fun adventures, balanced out with a bit of down time and incredible weather. A trip along the south coast to the blow holes was made with a bit of swell Mother Nature put on a show, and the guests enjoyed launching coconuts and palm tree branches tens of metres into the air. The trip to blow holes was followed by another trip to the local waterfall for a swim. Although it was rainy, the guests and surf guides enjoyed a nice refreshing swim.
During down time at Aganoa, the guests enjoyed some fun activities such as kayaking, spear fishing, fishing (a bit more luck was had with a guest catching a GT off the kayak one afternoon) and also enjoying games of bocce on the lawn in the afternoon sun with a cold beer in hand.
The surf conditions this week started off with Aganoa rights producing the goods with super clean mornings around the 3-4 ft mark, with the sun out and the tide perfect; all guests made the most of it. Later on in the week, the surf took us on a few short adventures down the road. We made tracks along the south coast to Middles, where we had fun surf with plenty of barrels from the rights and lefts.
With the guests’ two-week trip coming to an end, it was only fair they got stuck into the cocktails and enjoyed the local Fia-Fia dance and Samoa feast performed by the local staff from the lodge.
