For the majority of this week, Aganoa was victim to shifting clouds, only teasing us for 20 minutes at a time with sweet sunshine before another tropical shower would sprinkle its sounds on our tin roofs. In terms of waves, it didn’t matter too much as we were able to travel to Middles to score fun 3-4 ft waves quite consistently and even had a couple of sessions on Aganoa Right.
On the last day, the clouds gave way to some magical afternoon light that drifted through Aganoa lodge, seeping its way into every crevasse, ensuring our afternoon drinks were decorated with a fading dusk hue. That night we enjoyed a power-out-inspired candle lit dinner. Good vibes.
Aganoa's organic source of lettuce and everything herbs is still thriving, satisfying everyone's appetite with crisp freshness. Plenty of swell around to keep providing us with ripple ramps and walls.
