PASTOR ON THE MENU
A variety of weather conditions allowed us to explore most surf options on Savai’i this week. The Right in front of the Lodge provided a viable option on most days, but tide and wind changes in the afternoons gave us a chance to try our luck at other breaks.
Pastor Point on the east coast presented a Snapper-Rocks-like set up at the beginning of the week, and our guests were stoked to have the 100 m ripple walls to themselves. The excitement levels were so high, everyone was keen to return the next morning and despite a light devil wind, there were still some long rides on offer.
Along with some great sessions out the front, we also surfed middles and K-Land which had welcomed left-hand options.
Outside of great surf, this week’s group also had a ball snorkeling, spearfishing, turtle-watching and kayaking as well as squeezing in tours to the waterfall and blowhole which sent them home with many memories of their time here at the Lodge.
Stay classy, Samoa!
