Constant weather systems have been attacking us from every direction this week. This comes with the good and bad, depending on what direction they come from. Sometimes, we have been pleasantly surprised with a calm offshore wind to smooth out the junky 4-5 ft waves. Alternatively, we get smashed by a system at Aganoa so we’ve travelled to the SW coast for some shelter.
K-Land has delivered 2-4 ft lefts coming down the point appearing out of a haze created by distant rain. The scattered rain this week has produced a few rainbows which never get old.
Aganoa Right has cleaned up a couple of times for some waves of a heavier nature in the 4-6 ft range. There’s always a few gems out there, and its our job as surf guides to teach you about the reef, wave directions, and what to look for. Any conditions are a great learning experience to improve your surfing and with the right knowledge, it just gets easier!
