FUN SIZED FREEDOM
After a solid run of waves at Aganoa, the South Easterly started blowing so we had to escape to where we were free of the now relentless wind. Middles provided a better angle to cop with the strong gusts, with a side-offshore effect and some 2 ft waves.
Coconut Grove provided a complete escape from the wind. The lack of swell down there meant we spent the afternoon relaxing after a picnic lunch. A drizzly sky set a slow mood amongst us and was a welcome change to the action packed first half of the trip.
This week had it all, in between everything, the boys were all about fishing from the kayaks with some great results. They even managed to hook a grey reef shark (that was obviously let go) which towed them around the bay briefly.
Great crew, thanks to everyone for an unforgettable week!
