Well, it's been a rough few days trying to find perfect waves around the Telos with little swell and southerly winds kicking in early. Yesterday we sent the last bunch of frothing legends out and welcomed the new frothers in.
This morning we woke to a light south east wind and no change in swell with waves around the 2 ft mark. We headed off to the ER to find nice clean 2 ft left and right handers, great waves to warm up on. We split the pack letting the boys get their fair share of waves. This afternoon is looking like we will head back over to ER to find conditions pretty similar to the morning session.
The whole of Sumatra is covered in a blanket of smoke causing hazy days, almost like an overcast day, giving little vision in the distance. This is caused by the burn off of Palm Oil Plantations around Sumatra.
Reports are saying we have another swell on the way and it is looking good. We will keep you posted with a few reports to see what it produces.
